アマゾンの熱帯雨林に位置する小さな町、プカルパに生まれ育つ。ペルーの首都リマで数年を過ごした後に、8歳でスイスへ移住。幼少期から途上国と先進国両方での生活を経験した。スイスのオルテンという町にあるUniversity of Applied Sciences卒業後、同志社大学大学院ビジネス研究科のグローバルMBAコースで、グリーン経営指標の開発の研究に取り組む。グリーンビジネスについての講演活動や、同志社大学での「OMRON Responsible Leader Development プロジェクト」の経験から、環境に優しいビジネスモデルについて考えはじめ、特に企業の利益追求と環境破壊について問題意識を持ち始めた。現在は、持続可能なフットウェアの開発に力を入れている。



Eddy Joe Reber

Doshisha Business School, Global MBA Graduate

Eddy was born in Pucallpa, Peru, close to the outskirts of the Amazon rain forest. After living some years in Lima, at 8 years old, he started a new life in Switzerland, experiencing different development stages during his youth. He is a Global MBA graduate student in the Doshisha University Business School, where he is taking the Green Management stream. He is also an International Management graduate from the University of Applied Sciences in Olten, Switzerland. Through his background, personal experience, green business education and the OMRON Responsible Leader Development Project at Doshisha University, Eddy has learned about the importance and need for more environmentally friendly business solutions. He is especially concerned about the contradiction between corporate profits and the exploitation of the eco system to gain those profits. Eddy has decided to pursue his research on sustainable footwear, which combines his two passions - sports and green solutions.

竹内佑輝子

立命館大学文学部4年生

平成3年6月15日、日本舞踊若柳流 四世家元 若柳壽延(じゅえん)の長女として誕生。平成7年(当時4歳)で初舞台、長唄「菊づくし」を披露。以降、数々の舞台経験を重ね、平成17年(当時14歳)には、若柳流名取免状を修得し、若柳佑輝子を襲名する。若者の間に日本舞踊を普及させたいという思いから、日本中の公演に参加し、日本舞踊を紹介する活動に努めている。現在は京都を中心に活動しており、京都光華高等学校で日本舞踊の講師を務めている。


TAKEUCHI Yukiko

Ritsumeikan University, Faculty of Literature, 4th year student

Born on June 15th, 1991 into Wakayagi-ryu, the head family of Nihonbuyo (Traditional Japanese Dance), as the first daughter of Juen Wakayagi, Takeuchi performed her first professional dance, Nagauta “Kiku Zukushi”, at 4 years of age. Since then, she has performed in numerous Nihonbuyo events around Japan. Takeuchi received a certificate as accredited master in Nihonbuyo and obtained her stage name, Wakayagi Yukiko, at the age of 17. In hopes of spreading Nihonbuyo amongst the younger generation, she is taking an active part in introducing Japanese traditional dance through her performances. She works as a Nihonbuyo instructor at Kyoto Koka Senior High School.

京都外国語大学3年生

京都府出身。京都外国語大学在学中。日本全国の大学生が参加した「ペアで紹介する日本文化プレゼンコンテスト」で紙芝居を披露し、優勝を勝ち取る。以来、紙芝居に魅了され、現在は学生業の傍ら紙芝居一座「ヤッサン一座」で一流の紙芝居師になるべく勉強中。毎月2日、12日、22日、23日は兄弟子、姉弟子と共に清水寺にて口演。夢は大きく、紙芝居で世界を旅して世界中を笑顔でいっぱいにすること。


IKKYU

Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, 3rd year student

IKKYU, born and raised in Kyoto, is a student at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.  She recently received first prize in  "A Pair Presentation Contest on Japanese Culture" sponsored by Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, presenting on the art of Kamishibai (Japanese Storytelling). Fascinated by the Kamishibai style, she began studying the craft to become a Japanese storyteller, joining the Kamishibai group "Yassan Ichiza".  On the 2nd, 12th, 22nd, and 23rd of every month, IKKYU performs Kamishibai at Kiyomizu Temple, in both English and Japanese, with her seniors. In the future she hopes to travel to different countries to bring smiles around the world through Kamishibai and sharing this traditional style of storytelling.

辻愛麻

同志社大学政策学部4年生


3歳までイギリス、6歳までオーストラリアで過ごす。小学校入学以降、大阪、愛知、マンチェスターを転々とし、中学校入学と同時に兵庫に定住する。インドネシア、スリランカ、ケニアにて国際交流・国際協力事業に参加。大学入学以来、「日本ケニア学生会議」の代表として、ケニアと日本の学生の交流事業の運営に関わる。日本とアフリカの若者の声を世の中に伝える「TICAD V 学生プロジェクト」に携わり、今年6月にはTICAD V 本会合・サイドイベントに登壇。現在は休学し東京にて1年間「NGO日本国際ボランティアセンター(JVC)調査研究・政策提言部門インターン」「UNHCR渉外インターン」として活動中。



Emma Harrison


Doshisya University, Policy studies, 4th year student


Emma spent the first three years of her life in England and the next three in Australia. She lived in Osaka, Aichi and Manchester during her elementary years and settled in Hyogo prefecture as she entered into junior high school. As a student, Emma took part in international exchange activities and cooperation program in Indonesia, Sri-Lanka and Kenya. She was a representative of the “Japan-Kenya Student Conference” and took part in organizing international exchange activities program between Japan and Kenya. She is currently working to spread the voices of young people through the TICAD V  (Tokyo International Conference on African Development V) student project and will take speak at the main conference and side event of TICAD V in June this year. Emma is currently spending her year in Tokyo as an intern at Japan International Volunteer Center, Advocacy team, and UNHCR(United Nations High Commission on Refugees), External relations.

松沢哲郎

霊長類学者

京都大学霊長類研究所教授。国際霊長類学会長。学生運動の時代に京都大学に入学し、哲学科へ。人間は世界をどう見ているのかを明らかにしたいという興味から実験心理学を学ぶ一方、京大山岳部に所属し、登山に明け暮れる。大学院に進学の後、京都大学霊長類研究所に助手として着任、霊長類学に出会う。1978年春よりチンパンジーに言葉を教える「アイ・プロジェクト」を開始し、注目を集めた。現在は、霊長類学の第一人者として研究を続けると同時に、野生のチンパンジーの保全を目指す「緑の回廊」プロジェクトをアフリカで推進するなど、チンパンジーにとっての豊かな環境づくりに努めている。


MATSUZAWA Tetsuro

Primatologist

Prof. Matsuzawa is a professor at the Primate Research Institute of Kyoto University. He is also the president of the International Primatological Society. He entered Kyoto University as a philosophy major and as a student, his curiosity in people’s perception of the world led him to study experimental psychology. During that time he also enjoyed mountain climbing and was a member of Kyoto University Alpine Club. After graduate school, Prof. Matsuzawa became an assistant professor at the Primate Research Institute of Kyoto University. In 1978, he started “Ai-Project”, a project in which he taught language-like skills to chimpanzees. He continues to be active in primatology research, a field in which he is known to be a pioneer.  He recently started the "Green Corridor Project", which aims to protect wild chimpanzees and their habitat in Africa.

NPO法人Homedoor理事長

1991年大阪府生まれ。大阪市立大学卒。14歳の時、ホームレス問題に出会い、ホームレス襲撃事件の根絶を目指して、講演活動や100人規模のワークショップを開催。高校2年生時にはボランティア親善大使として渡米し、ワシントンD.C.での国際会議に参加した。大学2年生の4月にNPO法人「Homedoor」を設立。ホームレスや生活保護受給者への就労リハビリを提供する、シェアサイクル「HUBchari」事業で52名へ雇用創出を行う。CVG経済産業大臣賞、大学生OF THE YEAR 2011初代グランプリ、日経
WOMAN OF THE YEAR若手リーダー部門等を受賞。


KAWAGUCHI Kana

President of NPO, Homedoor

Kawaguchi was born in Osaka in 1991 and graduated from Osaka City University. She is the President of the NPO, Homedoor, an NPO helping the homeless. At age 14, Kawaguchi discovered the problems homeless people face and organized lectures and workshops with over 100 participants to address this problem to the public. In her 2nd year of high school, she became a Volunteer Goodwill Ambassador and participated in an international conference in Washington, D.C. While a university student she founded Homedoor and “HUBchari”, a project to help homeless and those receiving livelihood protection to find jobs, ultimately creating 52 jobs. Kawaguchi has been awarded the CVG Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Award, Japan University Student of the Year Award of 2011, and the Nikkei Women of the Year Award (Youth Leader Section).
